Quieter Week...

Hi Folks,

I don't have much to report for our time this week and, sadly, no pix or fun links so you are stuck with the following:

We did get the truck back after having a new transmission put in it. Todd's following up with the people that put one in a year ago in Peoria. It's a bummer about how much it cost, but at least we have it back again so the kids and I have a vehicle again. :O) The feeling of freedom a car brings is renewed!

I checked out two private schools this week. We're going to have to weigh pros and cons to make a decision. Please pray we have clear leading on the wisest choice for both children. Either school has pre-k for Kindrid 3 days a week for at least 3 hours...whatever will I do with no children at home?? Hmmm.....laundry? Nooo! Scrub floors? Uh-uh! Dishes? No way! Guess that just leaves....SCRAP!!! :O)

We joined Daddy at work today for the every-other-Friday free cookout they do for patients/employees and families. It's my third time to visit his hospital and I just can't believe how lovely it is! Todd may be staying the night at the hospital tonight to help with a challenge that came up. The buck stops at him! That's ma' man!

One final thing...our time and the weather and the right balance of chemicals/temp all came together this week for the kids and me to spend a significant chunk of time at the RV park pool. It's amazing to see their confidence in the water just take off when we have repeated exposure like this.

We close onthe house Monday, carpets cleaned on Wednesday and our stuff comes from IL on Saturday. One week from tomorrow we'll be sleeping in our own beds again! Woohooo!!

Blessings for a wonderful weekend!
Christy

Hi Guys,
Your trip to the Big Horns looked great. Jeff and our boys have stayed at Bear Lodge for snowmobiling. They also stay at Snowshoe Lodge part of Flitner Ranch. This year when they were there in March there was still over 60 inches of snow on the ground. The snow banks up by Burgess Junction where over the roof of our pick up truck. They had a ton of snow this year according to the guys at the lodge. The road you tried to come down is always closed in the winter. Take care. I really enjoy seeing the pictures and reading about your adventures. I'm glad you told Carleen to start here baby blog. Kay
